Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue Elis Taylor is an American actor and stage actor and producer. Her best-known role is as a movie actress, for her performances as a character in Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) and The Mentalist. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in African-American Studies from Brown University as well as an MFA in Acting from the Tisch School of the Arts New York University. Aunjanue is an actress for theater and film who is producer. She started her career as an actor in theater before going on to be a part of numerous television series, including mainstream and independent films. She gained fame as Miranda Shaw, a character from ABC's Quantico. The BET's epic show The Book of Negroes she played the role of Ariel. She did not only be praised by critics for her role but did she also win a couple of awards and nominations. In 1995, she appeared in her first performance on stage in The Tempest as Ariel. Some stage credits are Come and Gone Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis, a Broadway production by Joe Turner. Her film work, she's best known for the roles she played in Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express or The Help. Her character as a frequent character on the drama series High Incident on ABC High Incident earned her praises.
